FAW First Aid at Work (Initial)

Who Should Attend?

Where an employer’s assessment of first aid needs identifies that a First Aider is necessary, or those who want to gain the most comprehensive introduction to first aid.

Course Aim:

To provide delegates with the necessary knowledge of the responsibilities of being a First Aider. Delegates will have a base knowledge of how to correctly react and treat the various first aid situations that may occur in their place of work.

  • Module 15 Burns and Scalds
  • Module 16 Bones, Joints and Muscle Injuries
  • Module 17
  • Poisoning

Day Three

  • Module 19 Recap Paper 2 and Other Conditions
  • Module 20 Casualty Management
  • Module 21 Resuscitation Procedures

Additional Information

For employers requiring plastic cards, an additional charge of £5.00 per person will be levied. Delegates will need to provide a passport photograph at the start of the course.

3 Days can be split over 3 weeks. (3 Saturdays for instance)

For training held at your own location please ensure you make available a suitable room, which can comfortably accommodate with seating the number of delegates attending. We will also require a 240v power supply
